 Exports of footwear increased by 23.7% in 2MFY22.

As of the first two months of the fiscal year 2021-22 (2MFY22), Pakistan's footwear exports climbed by 23.72 percent to $26.787 million, compared to the previous year's exports, which were $21.65 million (2MFY21).





According to Pakistan Bureau of Statistics' latest figures, footwear exports increased by 51% and 3.78% in August 2021 when compared to exports in August 2020 and July 2021, respectively (PBS).

According to the data, footwear exports increased to $13.642 million in August from $13.145 million in July 2021 and $9.03 million in August 2020 over the time period under consideration.

According to the data, leather footwear exports increased from $18.9 million in July-August of 2012 to $30.7 million in July-August of 2013.
A 50 percent increase was also seen in the export of other shoes, which went from $2.7 million in the same period last year to $4.1 million this year.
