NED University's English Access Microscholarship Programme students have participated in the 75th Independence Day celebrations. US Consulate General facilitated their participation in the celebrations in Karachi. The students participated in the celebrations along with NED University's VC, Prof. Dr. Sarosh Hashmat Lodi.

The 75th anniversary of the founding of Pakistan is a momentous occasion for the country, and its people are celebrating it in grand style today. On this auspicious day, the country has changed its flag and is hosting a variety of events across the country. Many famous people participate in the celebrations by wearing patriotic clothes and sharing patriotic photos and messages.

Assad Chaudhry, the finance secretary of the parade committee, welcomed the guests with a speech on the country's 70-year history. While Pakistan is a traditional agricultural nation, it is on the path to becoming a modern industrial nation and is advancing rapidly in information technology. In response to the escalating situation in Afghanistan, the Pakistani armed forces and police have been fighting terrorism with great courage.

Ismaili Girl Guides' devotion

On the 75th anniversary of Pakistan's independence, the Ismaili Girl Guides demonstrated their devotion uniquely. They conducted activities to benefit the community, including plantation and beach cleaning, recycling, and free medical camps. Their commitment to improving society sparked civic spirit among the people.

Liaquat University of Medical & Health Sciences

On the 75th anniversary of Pakistan's Independence Day, Liaquat University of Medical &Health Sciences in Jamshoro organized a ceremony to mark the occasion. A national flag was hoisted, and a program was held to promote national integration. Vice Chancellor Prof Ikram Din Ujjain stressed the importance of unity and encouraged the professional community to perform at their peak level.

The event commenced with a reception organized by the Pakistan embassy. The event was attended by many Pakistani students and families from the twin cities of Ismailia and Alexandria. The event was greeted by reciting the Holy Quran and the national anthem. The audience was invited to sing along. Students from the Pakistan International School performed national songs. Quiz contests and art competitions were also held during the reception.

National flag hoisting ceremony

The University of Chitral celebrated Pakistan's 75th Independence Day on August 12. A flag-hoisting ceremony was held on the campus lawn, and the Vice Chancellor, Professor Dr. Zahir Shah, was the chief guest of the ceremony. The ceremony began with a recitation of the Holy Quran by the Mufti. The ceremony was followed by a Hamd and a Naat, performed by students.

The 75th celebration of Independence Day will include a national flag-hoisting ceremony at Quaid-i-Azam University. The ceremony will include speeches by leaders of the nation, and the nation will raise its national flag in a 21-gun salute. The celebrations will also include military parades and armed forces participation.

Overseas Scholarship Project Phase-3 (OS-3)

The United States of America sends warm wishes to Pakistan on the 75th anniversary of its independence day. To ensure a bright future for Pakistani students, the government has offered scholarships to students of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan and the Azad Kashmir province. The scholarships will help Pakistani students study at top universities worldwide.

The Saudi and Pakistani delegations attended the meeting. Saudi Arabia and Pakistan share profound and friendly relations, including religious and social dimensions. The two countries discussed ways to strengthen their partnership further and cooperate.

GB Career Fest is to be held this weekend.

The GB Career Fest is an event aimed at inspiring and motivating students. The four-day event will feature many speakers and exhibits from various organizations. Participants will also be able to interact one-on-one with the representatives of these organizations. There will also be a display of memorabilia and information materials. The main auditorium will host nominated speakers.

The Government of Gilgit Baltistan (GB) is holding a career festival for students on 15-18 August to promote educational opportunities in various fields. The event will be held at the Government Boys High School No. 1 Gilgit, which has produced many prominent figures in the region. Besides career discussions, the festival will feature speed counseling sessions and mentoring circles led by STEAM mentors.
